The Young Professionals of Oxford (YPO) will host the 8th Our Team Our Town Ole Miss Football Watch Party at the Powerhouse on Saturday, November 2. This year’s benefit will support Oxford Medical Ministries, a private, non-profit, community-based organization that provides compassionate, quality healthcare at no charge to low income, uninsured working adult of Lafayette and Yalobusha counties.
“This watch party is more than just an evening of fun and football; it will provide support to an organization filling a critical need in our community. We are proud to partner with Oxford Medical Ministries and support their mission of bringing quality healthcare to the LOU Community,” stated Allen Kurr, President of Young Professionals of Oxford.
The benefit is family-friendly and open to the public. The Powerhouse doors will open at 5 pm with kickoff set for 6 pm. Tickets are $15 in advance and $20 at the door with children 10 and under receiving free entry. Attendees 21 and older will have the option to purchase a $10 bottomless beer, wine, and signature cocktail cup compliments of Wonderbird Spirits. Other event features include a silent auction, door prizes, cash bar, and big screen view of the Rebels taking on the Auburn Tigers.

The YPO does such a great job helping young business leaders grow their businesses through networking and community service. The OMMC works to provide healthcare and pharmacy needs to individuals who are gainfully employed but do not have access to medical care. Just as it is important to grow and develop young leaders in business through organizations like YPO, it is our mission to keep the working uninsured healthy and cared for medically. Catering will be provided by My Michelle’s, Green Roof Lounge, Marco’s Pizza, No Time 2 Cook, Taylor Grocery, Smoothie King, Oby’s, Chicken Salad Chick, Uno Mas Tacos, and Newk’s.
