“All That You Love Will Be Carried Away” makes its Oxford big-screen debut (and possibly its only public screening in Oxford) August 16 at OFF to the Drive-In presented by the Oxford Film Festival. It is a short, 29-minute thriller based on a Stephen King short story from the collection Everything’s Eventual.
The film is the newest work by Thad Lee, a local film maker whose body of work includes Blue Mountain music videos, a campy horror flick, an experimental film about the Great American Eclipse of 2017, and an Ace Atkins book trailer.
You can read an extensive interview with Thad here as well as read more about the project and find link to Thad’s body of work.
Get tickets for the show, which will screen immediately prior to the 1994 hit Shawshank Redemption, another King adaptation, starring Morgan Freeman.
OFF to the Drive-In is a pop-up drive-in theater located at The Cannon Lot at 100 Thacker Loop. The lot opens at 8 pm, and the film will begin at 8:30 pm. Find out more about the Drive-In, including rules and how to buy concessions here.
