On April 6, 2025, the Oxford Police Department responded to a domestic violence call. After investigation, James Baylen Hill, 21, of Calhoun City, Mississippi, was arrested and charged with Kidnapping and Demestic Violence – Aggravated Assault.
Hill was taken before a Municipal Court judge for his initial bond hearing.
