- Adopt a resolution authorizing and directing the issuance of combined water and sewer system revenue refunding bonds, Series 2020, of the City of Oxford, Mississippi in the aggregate principal amount of not to exceed one million seven hundred thousand dollars ($1,700,000.00) for the purpose of currently refunding the outstanding three million four hundred fifty thousand ($3,450,000.00) (Original Principal Amount) City of Oxford, Mississippi Combined Water and Sewer System Revenue Bonds, Series 2008, Dated February 1, 2008; prescribing the form and details of said refunding bonds; providing certain covenants of said City in connection with said refunding bonds; directing the preparation, execution and delivery of said refunding bonds; authorizing the negotiated sale and private placement of said refunding bonds; approving the form of and authorizing the execution and delivery of a private placement agreement in connection with the sale of said refunding bonds; making provisions for certain funds and accounts in connection with said combined water and sewer system and said refunding bonds; making provisions for maintaining the tax-exempt status of said refunding bonds; directing the redemption of said prior bonds; and for related purposes.
