On Saturday, March 29, 2022, at approximately 11:00 am, the Lafayette County Sheriff’s Department was dispatched to 03 County Road 2062, Abbeville, Mississippi 38601 for a report of a domestic violence.
Dispatch advised the caller had reported the male had pulled a weapon on her.
Deputies arrived on scene and after an investigation 51-year-old Eric Market of Abbeville was arrested for Domestic Violence – Simple Assault and Possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.
The female 47-year-old Margaret Hart of Oakland, Mississippi was also arrested for Domestic Violence.
Ms. Hart’s bond was set at $500.00 and Mr. Market’s bond was set at $10,000.00.
