Returning for the fourth year and its second year on the Oxford Square, the Destination Oxford Car Show, presented by Belk Ford and Bullseye 95.5 FM, will roll into town Saturday, August 8, 2020.
If you’d like to enter your vehicle in the show, registration is the day of the show from 9 am to 1 pm . . . but you’ll want to get there early to get a good spot.
The entrance fee is $30, and because this is an open show format, all makes and models are eligible to enter. For the first time ever, this also includes motorcycles!
The show will take place in several parking lots around The Square. In years past, attendees from as far away as New Orleans have made the journey to enter the show.
Belk Ford will showcase what’s new from Ford, and they will have staff on site to answer any questions for new car shoppers in a relaxed atmosphere.
Everyone who enters a vehicle will be eligible to win prizes. Trophies will be awarded in five categories: the oldest person, the youngest person, which car traveled the farthest to enter, the person who has owned their car the longest, and the highly coveted “Best in Show.”
Lucky entrants will also be entered to win cash prizes as well as plenty of door prizes from over 30 local businesses.
Masks will be available and several hand sanitizer stations will be set up as everyone is required to follow city COVID-19 safety regulations.
Event t-shirts are available in a limited supply, and there’s always several classic cars for sale if you think owning one is right for you.
Come take a walk around the Square to see some amazing vehicles, grab a bite to eat, do a little shopping, and enjoy the 2020 Destination Oxford Car Show!
