Listen to America: A HuffPost Road Trip is a a multi-state bus tour that will spotlight personal stories and perspectives from across the US to better understand what unites—rather than divides—the country.
The tour will highlight undercovered communities and issues and spotlight heroes in each location who have made significant local contributions, with the goal of accurately capturing the concerns, hopes and dreams of everyday Americans to ultimately help HuffPost understand how it should drive future coverage. A public activation will be held at the City Hall parking bay from 11 am–3 pm where citizen can share their stories with Huffington Post.
HuffPost, in partnership with Off Square Books, presents a conversation between Oxford Mayor Robyn Tannehill and author/journalist Curtis Wilkie, about what the rest of the country can learn from Oxford. This will be held from 5:30 pm–7 pm.
