In your experience, what is the most common reason to have a drink? Stressed from work.
What’s your favorite ingredient or flavor combination? I’m definitely a vodka girl! I drink it with ginger ale.
What is your most essential bar tool? My bar key that opens bottles. It doubles as something to play with if it happens to be slow!
Where’s your favorite spot to sip in Tupelo / your hometown? Even when I’m off I usually end up at blue canoe! But I like Stables too!
What are your personal specialties? I think I make a pretty good Old Fashioned
What do you wish people would order more often? Less often? It just depends on how busy you are! I don’t mind making anything but if we are busy maybe less often Bloody Mary’s late at night.
What drink do you recommend to someone who doesn’t know what to order? At the canoe we have the Ruby Relaxer. That’s the one I usually go to if they don’t know what they want.
Most famous customer you’ve ever served: Jacob Landry…from the tv show Swamp People. That’s the only one I can think of off the top of my head.
Who would you most like to have a drink with; where and what would you imbibe? Because I’m a girl, Proably Justin Timberlake at Silkys on Beale! I’m sure I’d be drinking vodka of some sort to calm the nerves!
If you’re in charge of the tunes in your bar, what music do you play? I usually go for JJ Grey and Mofro or Pearl Jam radio on Pandora.
What’s the best live band you’ve seen in Mississippi? At the canoe definitely Alabama Shakes or Gary Clark Jr.

Read any good books lately? Not much of a reader!
Best joke to tell to a grumpy customer? I’m not good at telling jokes! But I recently learned the hand hug! So you basically put your hand up like you are gonna high five but you hold it there and wrap you rthumb around their hand say “hand hug!!” It’s so awkward that most people laugh!
What’s the funniest thing you’ve seen in your bar lately? My bar mate dressed up as our dishwasher for Halloween! It was pretty priceless!
Favorite after-shift drink? FIREBALL!
Where would you be if you weren’t behind a bar? Probably saving all the puppies! Haha! Or sitting in front of one!
