Where do you work, and what shift do you work? I work at Funky’s Pizza and Daiquiri Bar and you can usually find me open to close on the weekends.
What’s your specialty drink? Margarita
What drink do you dislike making the most? Car Bomb. It’s so messy.
What’s your biggest pet peeve when a customer orders? My biggest pet peeve is when someone has been waiting for me to serve them and when I’m able to get to them, they turn around and ask for everyone’s order. There was time to prepare for this moment haha
What’s your most essential bar tool? I have two essential tools, my bar rag and my bar key (bottle opener).
Most craved mid-shift snack? My most craved mid-shift snack is pepperonis.
Who is the most famous customer you’ve served? I gave Lane Kiffin a Diet Coke once.
What’s the oddest thing you’ve witnessed while bartending? I’ve seen a retired Patriots Linebacker get on the bar and start dancing. Please never try this.
What’s the best band you’ve ever seen in Oxford? The best band I ever saw in Oxford was my Dad’s band, Trampling Floor at The Gin.
If you could have a drink with anyone, who would it be and what are you pouring? If I could have a drink with anyone, it would be Miley Cyrus and we would drink San Matias Extra Anejo tequila on the rocks.
Where’s your favorite place to go on a road trip? My favorite road trip destination is to a small waterfall in Double Springs, AL.
Where do you hope to be in 10 years? In 10 years I still do see myself doing some sort of bartending. I love it. However, I would love to have my own commercial/residential plant care and design business.
