Today the Mississippi Department of Health (MSDH) is reporting just 215 new cases of COVID-19 in Mississippi and zero deaths. Mississippi’s total of COVID-19 cases since March 11 now stands at 100,703, with 3,013 deaths.
Currently there are 409 Mississippians hospitalized with confirmed COVID-19 infection. There are currently 119 people hospitalized in intensive care for confirmed COVID-19.
There are 122 active outbreaks of COVID-19 in long-term care facilities (where an outbreak is one or more cases among residents or staff). There is only one new long-term care case and one new long-term care death.
