I wanted to let you know about the Oxford Film Festival online campaign as part of the Mississippi Day of Giving that ends at midnight on October 24.
During only this campaign, you can give $50 and get a VIP pass to the festival, a perk that normally is reserved for $100 or more in donations. It is still a tax-deductible donation to our 501c3 but you also get to save some money while helping us out with our goal for the 2016 festival!

Mississippi Day of Giving is a day is a powerful opportunity to unite Mississippians around causes in which they truly believe and help nonprofit organizations connect to the larger community.
Supporters of the arts and non-profit causes in Mississippi can donate now until midnight on October 24th by visitingwww.msdayofgiving.org and electing to make a donation to Oxford Film Festival.
A special perk provided by the festival will be a VIP pass to the 13th annual festival held February 17-21, 2016 when you give $50. After October 24, the pass goes back to the normal rate of $100. You save $50 and help a good cause!
The Oxford Film Festival is participating in the Day of Giving before the Ole Miss vs Texas A&M game on October 24th.
The start time for the game has been confirmed and we are looking for volunteers for the following:
#1 Online support –
Make posts starting now and 3 times for sure on the day of giving on all social media outlets and send emails to friends. (For example April is helping raise $500) – 3 hours of volunteer time (or more if you do more and let us know)
#2 Give stickers out on the Square on October 24
11 am to 2 pm
Meet at the Powerhouse to get stickers and park and then each hand out at different locations
#3 Give stickers out at the Game on October 24
2 pm – 5 pm
Meet at the tent (to the left of the confederate soldier statue in circle) – tent with banner that says MS day of giving
Hand out stickers at various locations
If you do this, you can park for free at the Powerhouse during the game. We need your name in advance to allow this so you don’t get towed.
Let me know by Wednesday, October 14th if you would like to volunteer for any of these positions.
