Mississippi’s total of COVID-19 cases since February 2020 now stands at 307,519, with 7,096 deaths. 295,569 Mississippians are presumed to have recovered from COVID-19.
There are 15 active outbreaks of COVID-19 in long-term care facilities (where an outbreak is one or more cases among residents or staff). There are 162 patients currently hospitalized for confirmed COVID-19. There are 56 patients currently in intensive care for confirmed COVID-19. There are 259 available intensive care beds statewide.
