Oxford Film Festival is holding auditions for the 7th annual community film made by the Oxford and Lafayette community. Auditions will be on July 9 for the lead roles and a call for extras. The lead role is a 15 year old girl and the filmmakers are wanting to cast as true to age as possible.
Fifteen is about Maggie, a teenage girl living in a parallel world to ours where everyone is famous but she is sick of it. Maggie has to make a choice, give up fame and lose her standing in society or find a way to get used to it.
The 2018 Oxford Film Fest community film will be filmed in Summer or Fall of 2017. A table reading for people to hear the story and sign up to be an extra or crew member will be held at the Maker’s Market on Saturday, June 17 at noon.
Auditions for speaking parts will be held on July 9 at 3 pm at The Powerhouse with callbacks on July 13. Sign up for an audition here: https://airtable.com/shrkfU3bvFBJAgGp5
