On November 18, 2020, at approximately 4:28 pm, the Oxford Police Department was dispatched to the 700 block of Sisk Avenue to take a report of a dog being stolen. Enzo, a French Bulldog, was taken from the parking lot of a business.
A male, later identified as Mario Holman, (28 of Oxford, Mississippi), told an employee of the business that the dog belonged to Holman after the employee picked up the dog. Holman then left the parking lot with Enzo and sold him to another male.
After following a tip this morning, Enzo was recovered by OPD investigators and reunited with his owners.
Holman was arrested on a charge of felony False Pretense and give a bond of $2,500 by a Lafayette County Justice Court judge.
