Joel Boyd Jr 43 years old of Oxford, Mississippi.
On March 31, 2025, investigators with the Lafayette County Sheriff’s Office received a report regarding sexual assault allegations against a child. An investigation was conducted regarding the allegations.
As a result of the investigation, Joel Boyd Jr 43 years old of Oxford, Mississippi, was arrested and charged with one count of Rape- with intent to ravish and two counts of sexual battery of a child.
Boyd appeared before a Justice Court Judge on April 1, 2025, and was issued a bond amount of $200,000.00. Boyd is currently being held at the Lafayette County Detention Center awaiting bond.
