
The Oxford Police Department expressed its gratitude to Mississippi Attorney General Lynn Fitch on Monday after the department’s Victim Services Program was honored with a statewide award.
Fitch recognized several individuals and organizations across Mississippi for exceptional service to crime victims and efforts to combat human trafficking. The Oxford Police Department received the Outstanding Service to Crime Victims Award during the ceremony.
OPD thanks Attorney General Fitch for her unwavering commitment to supporting victims of crime and human trafficking. Her leadership continues to inspire and drive progress in communities across Mississippi.
Oxford Police Chief Jeff McCutchen praised the team of victim advocates and officers who support the program.
“We also extend a heartfelt thank you to our incredible team of victim advocates – Valerie Booth and Christina Rogers – as well as to every officer who serves with compassion, professionalism, and dedication,” McCutchen said. “Your work changes lives, and we are grateful for all that you do.”
