This Halloween, SoLa Oxford, a “casual-chic haunt” on South Lamar is combining the spooky and the fun, hosting a special event called “Creepy Tiki” on Thursday, October 31 at 5 pm. Known for their innovative takes on fine dining, SoLa is trading in regular service for a night of creative and delicious ramen and tiki-inspired cocktails.
Owner and chef Erika Lipe saw Halloween falling on ramen night and knew it was the perfect time to shake things up. “Ramen night has always been a misfit in our mission, and since it’s Halloween, why not dive into something just as fun and unexpected?” Lipe said. Drawing from tiki bar culture complete with skull imagery and tropical vibes, SoLa will serve up ramen with a twist, alongside a few dinner and dessert options, including vegan and gluten-free choices.
While it’s not a full-blown costume party, guests are invited to show up in their Halloween best, or even in pajamas, for an indulgent night of soup, cocktails, and a little lighthearted mischief. And yes, there will be gummy worms in something worth ordering.
Join the festivities at SoLa on October 31 for Creepy Tiki, where tiki specials, ramen treats, and a side of tricks await.
