Lucius Lamar was born in Memphis and raised in Oxford, Mississippi. He spent his high school years in Jackson, where he graduated from St. Andrews Episcopal High School. He attended the University of Mississippi, where he received a BFA in Fine Art Painting. He also studied at Parsons School of Design in New York and Paris, and he received a second bachelor’s degree in Environmental Design at UCLA. His work has been featured at the Third Street Promenade Gallery in Santa Monica, the Santa Barbara Museum of Art, the New Wright Gallery in Los Angeles and Rebel in Palm Springs.
