Saturday night after the Rebels beat down the Volunteers, Oxford’s Favorite New Band (Townies Award 2014), The Whiskey Barrels, dominated Proud Larry’s stage.
The crowd was happy and was really getting into the music. They played a variety of rock n roll covers, and one of my favorite moments has to be when they busted out a very metal version of “Gangster’s Paradise.”
