Free concert in the Square on October 25 to bring visitors and residents together before the Ole Miss versus Oklahoma football game
Visit Oxford is hosting Square Jam Session, a free concert taking place in the historic downtown Square of Oxford from 5 pm to 9 pm on October 25, 2024, ahead of the Ole Miss versus Oklahoma football game. The event will bring residents and visitors together in the heart of Oxford for an evening of live music, food and community celebration.
Performances feature local artists Neon Junkies and Thistle Ridge, with the renowned Maggie Rose returning to the stage after her iconic performance at Double Decker Arts Festival in 2022. Accompanying the variety of musical genres are local food trucks set up nearby with delicious refreshments, curating the perfect night out in Oxford.
“We are so excited to welcome Oklahoma into the SEC,” said Kinney Ferris, Executive Director for Visit Oxford. “In their first year, these fans will get to experience Oxford at its finest.”
The Square Jam Session promises to be a lively and memorable evening that celebrates the spirit of Oxford, its love for music and its vibrant downtown Square. Whether a local resident or first-time visitor is stopping by, everyone in Oxford is invited to tune-in.
