The Wang-Rodgers Piano Duo will take the stage to perform twentieth century compositions written for two pianos. The recital begins with Aaron Copland‘s Danzón Cubano and Tres Romances Argentinos by Carlos Guastavino. The performance will close with Elegy, Rag, and Boogie by Paul Schoenfield and Fantasy on “Porgy and Bess” by George Gershwin.
The duo is made up of UM Music faculty members Diane Wang and Stacy Rodgers. The two often perform together works written for two pianos and piano four-hands.
