On February 28, 2025, Deputies with the Lafayette County Sheriff‘s Office received a complaint of a burglary from a vehicle on County Road 395. After an investigation was conducted, James “Jimmy” Alger Peacock (White, Male 56 years old of Water Valley, Mississippi.) was arrested for commercial burglary on March 26, 2025.
The bond was later set by Lafayette County Justice court at $10,000.
