More than Music is a benefit concert for the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention. The event will take place Friday, November 30 at The Lyric Oxford.
The giveaway will run through 11 pm Saturday, November 24. One winner will receive two tickets to the show, and they will be notified by noon Monday, November 26. Good luck!
This concert featuring CBDB and The Busty Petites will also have resource booths from AFSP, Active Minds UM, a short message from Dr. Phil Baquie of the Wellness Center of Oxford, and every penny made will be donated back to the foundation to support education and policy initiatives that will help prevent suicide in the United States.
Music brings people together, and that’s exactly the goal of More than Music: to inspire hope in those who struggle, change in those who don’t want to see any more lives lost, to bring further awareness of the importance of mental health to our community—and have a kick ass time while doing so.
Tickets are valued at $15 each.
There is also an online fundraising page available for those who are not able to attend or would like to contribute more to AFSP than just their ticket purchase: https://afsp.donordrive.com/campaign/MorethanMusic
