This year marks the 10th year of the Yoknapatawpha Arts Council’s most popular fundraiser event, Miss-i-sippin’. The event takes place over the last weekend of March, Thursday through Saturday, with a free kickoff event, banquet, scavenger hunt, and the family-friendly after party at the Old Armory Pavilion. Jacksonsippin’ Kickoff Event
Thursday, March 28, 4–8 pm
Jackson Beer Company (1801 W. Jackson Ave. Ste D-103)
Head over to Jackson Beer Company for this Miss-i-sippin’ kickoff event. FREE admission. Food provided by Southern Craft Stove & Tap and of course there will be BEER!
Brewers’ Banquet
Friday, March 29, 6–9 pm
The Lamar (1343 N. Lamar)
The opening night event is the Brewers’ Dinner al fresco at The Lamar. The breweries will be on site for beer fans to have a chance to talk with the owners or brewers of the brewery. The food will feature Mississippi favorites from Southern Craft and Tap’s chef, Bubba Gross,to be paired with the flights of craft beer. There will be fun games and activities provided to spice up the party. The Brewers’ Banquet is sponsored by Delta Pride Catfish, Gulf Pride Select Shrimp, and The Lamar.
Beer Tasting Trail
Saturday, March 30, noon–6 pm
The second day of the event features our scavenger hunt app full of fun games, trivia, activities, and free tastings to engage the community and connect them with Oxford’s craft beer scene from retail spaces to restaurants. Teams will compete in the scavenger hunt for chances to win beer swag and special prizes at the Miss-i-sippi’ Brewin’ & Groovin’ after party.

- Have fun, hang out, drink beer, and be safe
- You’ll be entered into the raffle if you get +200 points and stickers on your helmet
- There will be medals and a trophy for the overall winner, so be creative—you will be recognized.
Miss-i-sippin’ Brewin’ & Groovin’ After Party
Saturday, March 30, 5–8 pm
Old Armory Pavilion
The culminating event of Miss-i-sippin’ is the annual party at the Old Armory Pavilion. The party offers an evening event that allows families to bring children to play while mom and dad sample craft beers, tour food trucks, play games, and enjoy live music.
